Our Privacy Promise

Your data belongs to you. We've built PSOTS Society to respect your privacy:

• Admins see your first name and last initial — not your full identity
• No ads. No data selling. No third-party tracking
• You control what other residents see about you
• You can download or delete your account anytime

What Admins Can See

✓ Can see: First name + last initial, flat number, join date, login method, approval status

✗ Cannot see: Full email, phone, photos, posts, Telegram username

Your Rights

• See your data: Profile page
• Edit your data: Profile → Edit
• See access history: Profile → Privacy Settings
• Control visibility: Privacy Settings (show/hide flat, name, contact)
• Delete your account: Privacy Settings → Delete Account

Contact Relay

When contacting residents through community features: your message is relayed via email, phone stays private, they see your flat number, limited to 5 contacts/day to prevent spam.

Data Storage

• Location: India (Google Cloud, Bangalore)
• Provider: Firebase (Google only)
• Encryption: In transit (HTTPS) and at rest
